Baked Savory Figs

These delicious figs are perfect for a snack or as part of a platter with charcuterie.

Ingredients

  • 8 fresh figs
  • 2 oz goat’s cheese, cut into 8 portions
  • 8 walnut halves, roughly chopped
  • sea salt flakes
  • pomegranate syrup, for drizzling

Instructions

Preheat the oven to 320°F. Line a baking tray with baking paper and place the figs on it, sitting upright. 

Cut a cross into the top of each fig and fill with the cheese and walnuts. Add a sprinkling of salt and a few drops of pomegranate syrup. Bake for 10 minutes. Serve warm, or transfer to an airtight container for transporting and enjoy at room temperature.
